A sleeping Giant is no Giant at all.

It is no doubt that the right foundations and precepts in terms of your belief are necessary for achievement/success. It is no wonder the common anthem has become the need to change our belief, attitude and thought pattern before every aspect of our lives begins to change. To act right, our belief and attitude must be conditioned in the right realm before this change can manifest to the outside.

That said, today’s contention is that belief is not enough; we must begin to act on our beliefs, goals, plans, dreams. It is of no value to merely have dreams, ideas, plans, beliefs and ideas, for they in themselves will not work until you work them out. It is very painful to be aware that you are destined for success without having to reap of it.

At the start of this year, those that set targets were optimistic and obviously still are but the pertinent question still is now that the Seventh month is closing in the next 11 days, have you done any of those ideas already set for this year…or maybe have you gone to work on your plans?…If not there still remains a reasonable number of days to recoup your energies…

A barking dog is often more useful than a sleeping lion

It is not enough to believe! We must start the ‘barking’. That’s why the 18thcentury writer (novelist) Maria Edgeworth reminds us that “There is no moment like the present.  The man who will not execute his resolutions when they are fresh upon him can have no hope from them afterwards:  they will be dissipated, lost, and perish in the hurry and scurry of the world, or sunk in the slough of indolence.

May God bless the work of your hands as you dare your dreams, visions, hopes, plans and beliefs…
