Today’s nurture is drawn from Prov18v21 which says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue; and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Scripture vividly explains to us that the power to create or destroy lies in that little but boastful member in our mouth, i.e., the tongue. Isn’t this remarkable?

We can actually chart the course that our lives can take using the tongue. For instance, in an otherwise seemingly impossible situation, we could speak faith filled words as according to what we desire to see and that shall we have.
In short, what we speak is what we get. As such, we become the captains of our own ships.

The latter part of the scripture tells us that they that love it (tongue) shall eat the fruit thereof. However, fruits only manifest and grow after a seed(s) has been planted, watered, nurtured. Similarly, the words that we speak are seeds; a continuous confession of positive words in the situations we face on a day-to-day basis will yield tremendous and marvelous results in our lives.

Keep speaking right and enjoy the beauty of life
